New Website

2007-03-20

We've finally got this website up and going. Hopefully all the features will be fully functional in no time. Hopefully, accepted users will be able to log on, add their own quotes or news articles, and the latest news articles will appear on the front page.

We have a place

2007-04-03

We are now located at:
River City Mall
300 Main St. #370
Keokuk, IA 52632

Come by and see our location at the old Boardwalk Skate Shop. While it may not look like much yet, we're ready to take in hardware and monitary donations. Look for information about our grand opening the weekend of Earth Day (April 21,22).

One more step...

2007-04-03

As of last week, Tri-States Free Geek has their EIN. What this means is that we are one step closer to filing IRS Form 1023 to get our 501(c)(3) status. We're on our way.

2007-10-14

On 10/12/07, students from the Keokuk High School, members of the Lee County Eco Team, and various volunteers moved nearly 500 computers from the former Jefferson Elementary School in Ft. Madison, Iowa to Tri-States Free Geek in Keokuk, Iowa. These wonderful individuals kept these systems from ending up in the land fill. Great River Rentals was vital in our efforts thanks to the donation of a moving van and a driver for the day.
